Everyone was utterly shocked.
Just who did that aura belong to?!
Everyone turned grave. No matter who they were or what they had been doing, they all rushed toward the same area at top speed.
Before long.
Son Goku arrived with Son Gohan.
The surrounding rocks lay in disarray, sparse weeds dotted the ground, and the place was utterly desolate.
Piccolo had actually been waiting there already.
"Yo, Piccolo, you got here fast."
"Uncle Piccolo!"
The two landed beside Piccolo.
Not long afterward, Vegeta, Yamcha, Raditz, Nappa, Tien Shinhan, and Krillin all arrived as well.
Even Bulma had flown over herself in a plane.
After catching up briefly, everyone waited in silence.
Sensing that powerful aura, equally evil and unfamiliar, everyone except the Saiyans and Piccolo could not help feeling terrified.
"Hey, Raditz, Nappa."
Yamcha asked the two, "Didn't An Xiu come? Where is he? Is he still at Kami's Lookout?"
The others were very curious about this as well.
Seeing everyone looking at them, Raditz and Nappa shook their heads, their tones somewhat helpless.
"Don't ask us. We don't know either."
The two stood side by side with their arms folded, silently watching the sky without another word.
In fact, as soon as they had sensed Frieza's aura, they had gone looking for An Xiu.
But they discovered that he had vanished.
No matter how they searched, they could not find him.
At this moment, Krillin walked over to Son Goku and asked:
"Hey, Goku, are you confident you can defeat someone whose ki is even stronger than Frieza's?"
Son Goku scratched his head and laughed. "Well, I can't really tell. Hahaha."
Krillin: "..."
Seeing that Goku and the others did not seem particularly tense, Krillin finally breathed a sigh of relief.
They had a full five Super Saiyans on their side, as well as Piccolo. There was no reason they should lose to Frieza and his group.
As everyone chatted casually.
Frieza and his father's spacecraft had already pierced Earth's atmosphere and flown over their heads.
Unlike his timid self in the original story.
The moment Vegeta saw it, he raised a hand and fired an energy blast at it. "Hmph, stop right there!"
Boom!
The golden energy blast struck the spacecraft.
The next second, the spacecraft exploded on impact.
Cold's Legion's foot soldiers were wiped out instantly.
However, Frieza and King Cold themselves were completely unharmed.
Their figures slowly descended from the lingering smoke of the explosion and arrived before the group.
"Not bad. That attack just now deserves praise. Even I failed to react in time."
King Cold spoke calmly.
His eyes swept over everyone. When his gaze landed on Piccolo, it paused slightly.
Piccolo already had strength comparable to a Super Saiyan at this point? It seems this battle will not be an easy victory...
Wait, Raditz and Nappa are among this group too...
King Cold thought to himself.
After glancing around, he relaxed slightly and asked in a casual tone, "Which one of you is An Xiu?"
Frieza shook his head. "Father, that Saiyan named An Xiu is not among these people."
"Oh, is that so?"
King Cold looked at the group. "Who fired that attack just now?"
"What if it was me?"
Vegeta stepped forward first.
He frowned slightly, staring at King Cold with a grave and puzzled expression.
"Who are you? Why do you look so much like one of Frieza's previous forms?"
"Hehehe, naturally."
Frieza answered for King Cold directly. Facing the group, he introduced him with elegant composure:
"People of Earth, the one standing before you is the strongest of our Frost Demon race—my father, King Cold!"
"What?!"
Everyone was startled by Frieza's words.
Vegeta mocked him. "Hahahaha, Frieza, so you went home to get your daddy to seek justice for you?"
"What did you say?!"
Frieza flew into a rage, but quickly calmed himself down.
He turned to King Cold and said:
"Father, leave that Super Saiyan Son Goku to me. As for the other small fry, they're yours. Once that Saiyan named An Xiu returns, we'll join forces and take him down."
"Fine, we'll do as my son says."
King Cold agreed aloud, but his mind was rapidly calculating.
That fellow transmigrator, An Xiu, isn't here...
And judging by the ki of these Saiyans in their normal states, they can probably all transform into Super Saiyans...
Of course, as long as none of them have Super Saiyan 3-level power, no one here can stand against me for even one exchange...
If I hadn't transmigrated early enough, and Frieza had just brought me here for revenge, I'd probably have gotten the crap beaten out of me before being killed...
An Xiu, An Xiu...
Just what the hell have you done...
King Cold had transmigrated into the Dragon Balls world a little over a year ago. He had arrived about a month before the Saiyan invasion arc began.
Thanks to the talent of this Frost Demon body.
Over the past year or so, he had trained his strength to a level comparable to Super Saiyan 3.
Because the areas where they operated and ruled were different.
King Cold had initially not known where Namek was.
Frieza, in pursuit of the wish for eternal life, had never told him, much less taken him along.
It was not until Frieza was defeated on Namek that King Cold had been invited by Frieza to discuss going to Earth together for revenge.
King Cold had naturally been more than willing.
Besides training, he had actually been searching for Earth's location all this time, but his subordinates simply could not find it.
Being able to reach Earth through Frieza's intelligence was also one reason he was willing to stand up for Frieza.
Of course, revenge was one thing.
King Cold had never actually intended to become enemies with another transmigrator from his homeland or with the protagonist, Goku.
If he could win, that would naturally be best. He would also stop Frieza from killing them.
As for if he could not win, King Cold felt that, at the very least, out of consideration for their shared origin, that transmigrator named An Xiu probably would not kill him.
After all, he had a benefit that would definitely tempt the other party, which he could offer in exchange.
Still, with the possibility that he might truly die on Earth in mind, King Cold had not been careless.
During this time, he had also raised Frieza's strength to the level of Super Saiyan 2.
Their power levels were almost a full two generations ahead of the current Dragon Balls world.
King Cold refused to believe that, with such a lineup, he could still stumble on Earth.
