Roommate Wang Dong?

Seeing Ling Feng standing at the doorway, Long Xiangyue jolted in fright and stumbled back two steps. He pointed at Ling Feng, stammering, "Y-you-you..." without managing a complete sentence.

When Cao Jinxuan saw Ling Feng, he thought for a moment before recalling that they had met briefly by the notice board.

Glancing down at the takeout meals in Ling Feng's hands, he immediately stepped forward with an enthusiastic greeting.

"Aren't you the brother from in front of the notice board? What, still want to hear some insider information about the academy?"

"Come in, come in! Ah, you came, so why did you bring anything?"

Cao Jinxuan warmly pulled Ling Feng into the dorm and casually took the food from his hands. With just one glance, his eyes lit up.

"Isn't this the academy's most expensive nutritional meal? He actually brought four portions!"

Cao Jinxuan pulled Ling Feng over to sit on his bed and placed the food Ling Feng had bought on the table. Then he turned toward the terrified-looking Long Xiangyue, unable to hide the disdain in his gaze.

"Him? My roommate, Long Xiangyue."

"He's from the countryside. Hasn't seen much of the world."

"Hey, come sit down! Why are you standing there like an idiot?"

That last line was naturally directed at Long Xiangyue.

"We'll all be classmates from now on. It's fine." Ling Feng looked easygoing on the surface. "Long Xiangyue, right? Sit."

"You haven't eaten breakfast yet, have you? Want to join me? I bought portions for both of you too."

Seeing that Ling Feng truly did not seem to intend to make a move, Long Xiangyue finally sat down, though still half-skeptical.

Cao Jinxuan, on the other hand, was completely different.

"Ah, how could I possibly accept this?"

Though Cao Jinxuan claimed to be embarrassed, his hands moved ahead of everyone else's. He opened a lunch box, and at the sight of the dazzling assortment of dishes inside, he swallowed hard before digging in with gusto.

Ling Feng, who had been sitting beside Cao Jinxuan, rose to his feet and took a step forward. He caught the lunch box and, at the same time, caught all the food that had been spilling out.

"Be careful. The money isn't the issue—don't waste food."

Ling Feng set the lunch box back on the table, no longer paying attention to the dumbstruck Cao Jinxuan. He took another meal from the takeout bag and handed it to Long Xiangyue.

The youth at the door immediately noticed Ling Feng on the bed. As their eyes met, both of them froze for a moment.

However, Ling Feng's expression soon turned strange.

Pinkish-blue eyes and hair, along with somewhat rude manners.

Ling Feng had already recognized the youth's identity.

It was Wang Dong, the daughter whom the Sugar God King had cast down to the mortal world, now disguised as a boy!

No wonder this dormitory sounded so familiar...

Before Ling Feng could speak, Wang Dong's gaze turned arrogant again.

Frowning at the lunch boxes Ling Feng had carelessly tossed aside, Wang Dong looked around the room and snorted coldly.

"Seeing as you cleaned the room in advance and are reasonably good-looking, I'll reluctantly allow you to stay in this dormitory for now."

Wang Dong clearly had not expected to be knocked back. He sat there in a daze for a moment before getting to his feet again.

"You've got some brute strength. Hey, if you've got the guts, get up and fight me!"
