"Ancient Relic No. 10 is a massive Pyramid in the Sahara Desert. Its interior is extremely dangerous."

After flying out from the depths of the sea, the Ultraman Avatar headed for the parched desert. According to the information, this relic had likewise never been explored by humans and remained untouched territory.

"Another Pyramid. It'd better not be another empty Energy Tower."

Perhaps due to the influence of the Mechanical Race, many human civilizations in the universe had built their Energy Towers in the shape of Pyramids. The Moon was like that, and so was Mars.

"Here!"

The Ultraman Avatar arrived before a Pyramid whose aboveground portion alone exceeded five hundred meters in height. Its entire body was forged from metal, with no seams visible from the outside. From afar, it stood in the desert like a metallic mountain.

Ultra Vision!

Whenever he encountered anything dangerous, he would inspect it with Ultra Vision. However, this Energy Tower seemed to still be operational, preventing him from seeing its interior.

"Sorry, Master. My Detector cannot scan this Pyramid."

After Ultra Vision failed, the Ultraman Avatar had Dracion scan the relic. The result was even worse than Ultra Vision. It had to be said that Dracion's Intelligent System was not very advanced; even a tiny Pyramid could block its detection.

The good news, however, was that by following him, Dracion had plenty of room to improve. Perhaps it could really reach the level of its original name.

"In the end, I still have to do it myself!"

If he could not see inside, he would start from the outside. The Ultraman Avatar spread out his Mental Power again and easily found the underground entrance of this Energy Tower.

Since he sensed that the Energy Tower was still operating, the Ultraman Avatar did not simply barge in as he had on the Moon. Instead, he prepared to take the artificial passage.

Only after entering underground did the Ultraman Avatar discover that no city had been built beneath this Energy Tower. Aside from some artificial ruins, its main core was the Pyramid above.

"Were all the things moved inside the Pyramid?"

The Ultraman Avatar cautiously passed through the Pyramid's entrance. According to the original story's information, the Mars site had belonged to the Silver Blue Empire's mining industry, while Earth's had been used for farming, before the dying Hu Yanbo gunned them all down.

The moment the Ultraman Avatar stepped through the entrance, he saw a passage dozens of meters long. Both sides of the passage were lined with dense holes.

"Master, it's a Laser Corridor. Its intensity is only A3 grade!"

Dracion performed well this time, identifying the intensity of the Laser Corridor, something the Ultraman Avatar could not determine. Within the passage, A3-grade lasers could easily kill a Planetary First Order warrior.

The awkward part was that the Ultraman Avatar was a Tenfold Double Eighth Order existence. Even if he stood there and let the lasers attack him, they could not hurt him.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

After detecting an intruder, the Laser Corridor instantly lit up with streaks of white light that shot through the entire passage. Some of the lasers could even curve slightly.

Ultra Punch!

Facing these seemingly dangerous lasers, the Ultraman Avatar merely threw a punch forward. A terrifying shockwave of force immediately swept through the entire Laser Corridor.

Boom!

A violent roar rang out as the entire Laser Corridor was instantly blown apart, its attacks ceasing. Only crackling currents still echoed through the passage.

"Taken care of!"

The Ultraman Avatar crossed the destroyed Laser Corridor and continued onward. After passing through a long hallway, he encountered another group of robots.

Rows of standard-issue Silver Robots marched in neat formation toward the intruder.

"What weak robots."

The Ultraman Avatar easily dismantled one robot. According to Dracion's scan, these robots were only Apprentice Ninth Order. Their defense barely reached the Planetary Level, while their overall strength was even inferior to the previous Laser Corridor.

"Although these robots are pathetic, I'm curious what exactly is inside this Pyramid."

The Ultraman Avatar was somewhat curious. Ordinary civilization relics had trouble even staying operational, let alone possessing a Laser Corridor. If this relic could still function, there had to be something inside.

Whoosh!

Following the route detected by Dracion, the Ultraman Avatar ignored the many robots and flew straight toward the Pyramid's interior.

"The overall direction seems to be toward the top of the Pyramid!"

After circling around several times and flying straight upward for a full four hundred meters, the Ultraman Avatar finally saw a patch of light. It seemed to be the Pyramid's core.

The moment he entered through the door, the Ultraman Avatar was immediately drawn to a massive crystal above the Chamber. The energy it emitted made his whole body feel warm, and the Gene Energy within him began circulating rapidly.

At the same time, a Crystal Coffin lay conspicuously in the center of the crystal Chamber, bathed in the light from the crystal above.

"A corpse!"

Reluctantly shifting his gaze away from the crystal overhead, the Ultraman Avatar also noticed the human corpse inside the Crystal Coffin.

"Master, be careful. There may be traps here!"

Dracion warned him. The previous Laser Corridor and the large number of robots were likely all there to protect the corpse in this coffin. There had to be even more dangerous traps in the Chamber.

"I understand!"

The Ultraman Avatar nodded. Yet confident in his own strength, he slowly flew toward the Crystal Coffin.

"Judging by the history of this Pyramid, the one in this coffin could be considered a true—Fifty Thousand Year Old Corpse!"

The Ultraman Avatar arrived above the Crystal Coffin and clearly saw the human's appearance within. It seemed to be male and did not look too different from a human, though its body was a full three meters tall.

Unlike those corpses that had long since weathered away in the torrent of time, this Crystal Coffin seemed capable of preserving its appearance. The entire corpse still retained the way it had looked in life.

Rather than marveling at the corpse's appearance, the Ultraman Avatar was quickly drawn to the ring on its finger.

"Could that be..."

Thinking of an essential artifact for every protagonist, the Ultraman Avatar's heart instantly stirred. Even knowing that there was definitely something wrong with this Crystal Coffin, he could not resist the temptation.

"Use Mental Power!"

The Ultraman Avatar reverted to his true form. By now, he had grown to eight meters tall, far surpassing the average height of cosmic humans. He then activated Aerial Type's twofold Mental Power enhancement, and Mental Power equivalent to Twentyfold Planetary Eighth Order directly enveloped the entire Crystal Coffin.

Open!

His powerful Mental Power directly lifted the coffin lid and reached for the ring on the corpse's hand. However, the ring seemed to have been tampered with. His first attempt to seize it with Mental Power unexpectedly failed, and only after exerting himself again did he remove the ring from the corpse's hand.

Boom!

Yet in that brief moment of delay, the open door instantly shut. The crystal Light Sphere above also emitted scorching light, flickering again and again, while an extremely dangerous aura spread throughout the entire Chamber.
