The 2009-2010 NBA Finals tipped off at the Los Angeles Lakers' home arena—the Staples Center.

Both teams' starting lineups were identical to those from their regular-season matchups.

The Lakers sent out Rajon Rondo, Kobe, P. J. Tucker, Zhou Ze, and Chris Andersen.

The Celtics, meanwhile, started McGrady, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Garnett, and Kendrick Perkins—the player who had portrayed Zhou Ze during the team's internal scrimmages.

The announcement the Celtics had released before the Finals had clearly touched Zhou Ze's "sore spot."

He would not have been this angry even if they had used McGrady to simulate him in practice, but Perkins... that face actually dared to compare itself to his!

This was practically an insult!

Not long after the opening tip, Zhou Ze unleashed his signature move—Meteor Dunk. He blew past Kevin Garnett in one step, planted just inside the free-throw line, and soared into the air, dunking right over the rotating Perkins.

Well...

Unlike Griffin's classic moment from his previous life, Zhou Ze did not need anyone to feed him the ball. He could attack with the ball himself.

"Wow!"

"Beautifully done, Zhou!"

JaVale McGee waved a towel and cheered excitedly from the bench.

He did not forget to tell Jermaine O'Neal beside him, "Bro, look at Kendrick. His expression right now looks just like the Chinese character for 'awkward.'"

Jermaine O'Neal stared at McGee's face for a full 5.8 seconds before saying, "Yeah, it really does."

The Celtics' defensive strategy tonight differed from last year's. They had Garnett defend Zhou Ze as the primary matchup, while the tall, long-armed McGrady would leave Rajon Rondo open on certain possessions to help Garnett double-team Zhou Ze.

Two freakishly long wingspans, along with veteran players whose hunger for a championship had reached its peak, displayed an unprecedented
