It wasn't that Cousins's ball-handling had been overrated. His center of gravity was simply too high, making him absurdly easy to strip.

Cousins's three-pointers, mid-range shots, and interior offense were all defended so thoroughly by Zhou Ze that he couldn't even get a shot off.

Whether in terms of physical tools or athletic gifts, Zhou Ze surpassed Cousins across the board. His athleticism in particular was on an entirely different level. On top of that, Zhou Ze possessed elite defensive awareness.
