The Brooklyn streets at night.
A man, looking utterly deranged, ran frantically, knocking over passersby. He clutched a leather bag tightly to his chest with his left hand, while his right hand held a pistol.
He kept looking back over his shoulder, his madness unable to hide a deep-seated fear.
At the street corner, a man in red clothing emerged… no, a person.
"Wow, Red Swordsman!" the men on the street exclaimed in surprise.
The women's reactions were more complex.
Some sympathized with Adam Smith's plight; others were angry that he had deprived women of their freedom; and some women simply found him attractive and famous, so… they wanted him.
This was normal. Three women could start a drama, and one girls' dorm could spawn over a dozen group chats.
The man fleeing ahead heard the commotion, turned his head, and immediately raised his pistol, firing wildly behind him.
A red figure flashed, sword light flickered, and the blade actually split the bullets, effortlessly.
Although Adam Smith's sword was still in the style of a Han Dynasty sword, its material was now extraordinary. It was a treasure sword custom-made for him by Hydra using their stock of Adamantium.
This great sword was much harder than his old ones.
Not only was it hard, but Adamantium, once sharpened, was also extremely sharp. It could cut through metal without the need for internal energy.
Adam was very satisfied with this great sword. If he encountered the Iron Monger again now, he could slice it open with one swing.
The bullets, sliced into small pieces, fell at Adam Smith's feet, and the onlookers marveled.
"Oh my god, Red Swordsman is indeed the strongest superhero, Captain America is so much weaker than him!" This was clearly a plant arranged by Hydra, the targeting was too obvious.
However, in the eyes of ordinary citizens, Captain America's story was over sixty years ago. People were more willing to believe what they saw with their own eyes.
"Get out of the way, don't block me." Adam Smith had no intention of being a "good neighbor to New York citizens." His attitude was always cold.
Yet, Americans interpreted this coldness as aloofness, and many preferred it. If you spoke to him nicely, he wouldn't even pay attention.
The bullets were completely ineffective against the red figure. The robber, high on drugs, emptied his magazine but could only watch as the Red Swordsman approached him leisurely, then sliced off the gun in his hand, along with a few fingers.
To maintain his public image, Adam Smith deliberately held back, rarely cutting off limbs anymore. He usually just disarmed criminals with his fists after destroying their weapons.
After he finished his routine, people arranged by Hydra would immediately come to clean up, call the police, and then a large group of reporters would swarm in to take photos and conduct interviews.
Although Adam Smith surrendered himself to the New York Police at a press conference, he was released on bail after just going through the motions.
Afterward, under Hydra's arrangements, he went around fighting gangs and rescuing the elderly and children, always being photographed by reporters and appearing in prime time.
Anyone with discerning eyes could tell that Adam Smith was supported by a powerful force behind him.
So, today, a particularly bold female reporter rushed to the front, extending her voice recorder to his mouth first.
"Mr. Smith, I must say, it's so difficult to get an interview with you, breaking through the blockade from my peers!"
Blonde, big-breasted, all four characteristics hit Adam Smith's triggers, and this woman was hot and attractive.
Adam's expression immediately turned ugly, and a dangerous signal emanated from his eyes.
The female reporter thought her sharp words had struck a nerve, so she smugly introduced herself: "I'm Christine from Vanity Fair magazine. May I ask you two questions?"
Adam Smith, who had already figured out how to deal with this blonde bombshell, curved his lips: "Sure!"
"Mr. Smith, I've noticed that you always seem to be photographed by reporters just when you're doing good deeds. Don't you think that's too coincidental?" Christine pushed the voice recorder even closer.
"It's not a coincidence, because I pay them to work overtime," Adam Smith said with a calm expression. "Everyone should abide by the spirit of contract, shouldn't they?"
This blunt truth left Christine speechless for a long time; all her prepared remarks were useless.
How could this be?
He wasn't playing by the rules!
"Alright, so you admit to deliberately creating news buzz." Christine was openly digging a trap.
Unfortunately, Adam Smith didn't care at all. He just wanted to "cook" the blonde bombshell in front of him.
"The deeds of superheroes should be widely publicized, so I'd like to ask Miss Christine to work overtime too. We can find another place to discuss in detail."
Stared at by his fiery gaze, Christine revealed a smile of a plan succeeding.
To win a Pulitzer Prize, did you think good photos were enough?
You needed the spirit of sacrifice!
The scene shifted, and Christine was in a hotel suite, hugging Adam Smith and kissing and biting him passionately.
Adam Smith endured the disgusting feeling of saliva on his skin, not kicking the woman away. Instead, he seemed to be waiting calmly.
Christine, high on excitement, finished kissing his upper body and then quickly unbuckled Adam Smith's belt, pulling it down forcefully.
First shock, then astonishment.
Adam Smith showed a triumphant smile.
Why did he become a superhero?
It was all to attract these seductive women after becoming famous. When they got too enthusiastic, they would suddenly see an empty frame, and the look of shock, anger, and despair… just thinking about it made him tremble with excitement.
"How is it?" Adam Smith showed a cruel smile. "Surprised? Disappointed?"
He shoved Christine onto the carpet and walked over to the toolbox.
Just as Adam Smith was about to begin his violent ravaging, Christine's eyes lit up and she shouted at him, "Oh my god, this is amazing!"
"You know what? You satisfy two of my needs at once!"
"Come on! Hurry up!"
"..." This time, it was Adam Smith's turn to be speechless for a long time.
Not playing by the rules!
Enraged, Adam Smith took out all his anger on Christine, cycling through various props.
In the end, he was exhausted after a long time, while Christine was lost in a haze of ecstasy.
Adam admitted that he had miscalculated this time.
He thought his ex-wife was perverted enough, but he didn't expect there to be even more perverted women in this country!
In the middle of the night, the Hydra cleanup crew waiting outside quickly carried in a stretcher. The scene was as bloody as they had expected, but the reactions of those involved were unexpected.
Although Christine was covered in wounds and bleeding profusely, her eyes were glazed over, her cheeks were flushed, and she kept muttering, "God! He's so good... so strong!"
To attract more women, Adam Smith hadn't killed her, but the tragic screams he had imagined didn't materialize.
"Damn it, I don't believe there isn't a normal woman in America!" Adam wanted to continue.
Outside the hotel, a paparazzo secretly filmed Christine being carried into an ambulance and bribed the paramedics to record her muttering.
As a result, the internet exploded.
"You slut!"
"I don't believe it, is he really that good?"
"Damn it, I'm going to challenge him myself and vindicate American women!"
Adam Smith never expected that his notorious reputation among women would take a strange turn because of this incident.
Of course, he didn't mind. The more women threw themselves at him, the more he could ravage.
However, he didn't know that besides men and women paying attention to him, his own kind were also watching.
In an underground arena in Atlanta, bodies littered the ground, and blood flowed like a river.
The bald man in red looked at the news playing on the TV screen and revealed a ferocious smile, "Lord Dongfang can only be mine!"
I chatted with the editor about the plot of the next few chapters and realized I was still being too conservative, so I changed it to be more exciting!
