Wang Dong grew up pampered in the Clear Sky Sect. Her two father figures praised her talent and appearance so freely that she came to believe natural ability alone would keep her ahead of her peers. Before entering Shrek Academy, she devoted much of her time to entertainment rather than cultivation 17 19 21.

She left the sect disguised as a boy. At Shrek, she was assigned to Yun Yi’s Room 109 rather than becoming Huo Yuhao’s roommate in Room 108.
