Background / History
Gong Liefeng is the son of Gong Haoyue, master of Mount Dai Sword Pavilion. He travels alongside fellow Four Swords Sect disciples Cao Langao, Lei Zhaoye, and Cai Yuelin, who regard one another as close companions. 19 29
He first meets Liu Yunshen after Cao Langao is rescued from the demonic cultivator Cao Zhan. Mistaking Liu for a rival for Cao’s affection, Gong initially reacts with hostility and jealousy. After Cao reprimands him, he apologizes formally and immediately offers to use his father’s position to help Liu join the Myriad Swords Sect. 9
Gong later learns that the Myriad Swords Sect’s upper ranks have become obsessed with ascension and entangled with demonic forces. He and the others support the Four Swords Sect’s decision to separate from it despite the loss of status this entails. 19
