"So, you're also a Spider-Man from another world?" Pants Spider-Man asked in surprise.
All right, calling him Pants Spider-Man might not have been very polite.
According to him, he came from a Parallel Universe designated Earth-616. His original name was Peter B. Parker, though people in his world sometimes called him Amazing Spider-Man.
When Peter was grabbed by Amazing Spider-Man and pulled out of the coffin, a new node appeared on the glowing spiderweb in his mind: Earth-616B.
That should correspond to the universe of the Amazing Spider-Man in front of him.
So his full codename should be: Amazing Spider-Man-B.
As for the black boy standing awkwardly off to the side like a little monkey, constantly "secretly" glancing at him, his name was Miles Morales.
What surprised—no, shocked—Peter was that Miles also possessed spider powers!
After coming into contact with him, Peter obtained a world node from him as well.
However, this node was identical to the node of the Spider-Man body he currently inhabited.
Both were Earth-1610B.
This meant that Miles originally belonged to this world, while Amazing Spider-Man-B, like Peter, was a visitor from a Parallel Universe.
The difference was that Peter had come in the form of soul consciousness, while Amazing Spider-Man-B had physically crossed over.
Because of that, a strange phenomenon had appeared on him.
Sometimes, Amazing Spider-Man-B's body flickered, even warping slightly.
Based on Peter and Amazing Spider-Man-B's deductions, this was likely a rejection reaction caused by differences between the quantum particles making up Amazing Spider-Man-B's body and those of this world.
From a macroscopic perspective, every Parallel Universe looked more or less the same. They even seemed to all have a Peter Parker or someone similar.
But from a microscopic perspective, the differences between each world were actually considerable.
For example, among the several
