It looked like nothing more than an inconspicuous little shed, the kind almost every household built to store odds and ends like lawn mowers.
But in reality, that was merely its disguise.
Peter stood before the shed, reached for the lock on its door, and angled the keyhole slightly toward his eye.
This key had two ways of granting entry: one was himself, and the other was an actual key.
The key was usually kept with Aunt May.
Since Blonde Spider-Man himself was here, there was naturally no need for a key.
A beam of light emerged from the keyhole and shone into his pupil.
"Open the door," Peter said softly.
"Fingerprint verification passed."
"Pupil verification passed."
"Vocal Print verification passed."
Several verification measures activated in sequence, unlocking the high-tech combination lock built into the key one by one.
Then, the wooden door transformed into a sleek high-tech blast door, opening with a massive spider emblem flashing across it.
Peter walked inside.
Inside the shed was an elevator that went straight down into the depths underground, where Blonde Spider-Man's private base was located.
As the elevator descended, fragments of memory surged wildly through Peter's mind, growing more numerous. (After looking into this universe's background, it turned out to be different from both the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and comics. It was a universe based on Sony's own Spider-Man-related stories—for example, his upside-down kiss with Mary Jane, saving people on the subway, Doctor Octopus throwing a car while he was having dinner with Mary Jane, and so on. Sound familiar? It was simply ultimately designated Earth-1610B, and it differed quite a bit from the Ultimate Universe.)
