Peter lay quietly on the ceiling, closed his eyes, and used his mind to feel every muscle fiber in his body bit by bit.

Bit by bit, he familiarized himself with the changes in his body.

"Phew—"

About half an hour later, Peter carefully lowered himself to the floor.

By now, he had basically adapted to this faster, stronger body with its far more developed Spider-Sense.

Still, he remained cautious, afraid that one burst of strength might smash something.

Although he could make money now, if he inexplicably turned the house into a mess, Aunt May would definitely give him an earful.

He still remembered how angry Aunt May had been more than a month ago!

But aside from the changes in his physical strength, there was another new ability that amazed him.

Whoosh—

Peter raised a hand toward the ceiling, and a strand of web shot from his hand.

But he wasn't wearing web-shooters right now!

That web had actually shot directly out of his hand!

Yet his body hadn't grown any gland-like organ that could produce web fluid.

Perhaps it was some kind of magical power?

Could this be the ability he had gained from Shadow Spider-Man?

After all, the other two Spider-Men both used web-shooters. Only Shadow Spider-Man, whose abilities leaned more toward magic, produced webs from his own body.

Peter reluctantly came up with a fairly reasonable explanation for himself.

Bzz—

The phone in his clothes suddenly vibrated.

Peter carefully took out his phone and cautiously lit up the screen, only to find a whole pile of messages.

Ned: Why did you take the day off today? Are you sick? Want me to come see you after school this afternoon?

Ned: Should I bring my LEGO Death Star too? We can build it together. help.jpg, help.jpg
