Luffy's Decision

The storm was about to rise? The storm had already passed.

Whatever happened in the outside world had nothing to do with Ace, the current head of the Whitebeard Pirates. After indulging in three consecutive banquets aboard the Moby Dick, he finally formally faced Luffy once more over the issue neither of them wanted to confront.

That issue was called "the future."

"Mr. Zoro, why do you and Mr. Luffy want to become pirates? You're obviously good people, aren't you?"

Watching Ace, Luffy, and Koby over there, Momonosuke, who had been idling nearby, could not help asking Roronoa Zoro, who was also watching them. Over the past three days, he had gotten along fairly well with the cold-faced, warm-hearted swordsman. As fellow practitioners of the sword, the two naturally held a favorable impression of each other.

Rubbing his fuzzy head, Momonosuke obediently closed his mouth. Though he asked no more questions, he was still deeply puzzled. These older brothers and sisters were all such good people, so why insist on carrying the title of "pirate"? Wasn't that just asking for trouble?

"Momonosuke, is your master really going to wage war on all pirates? Then wouldn't we also—"

"Hey, kid, we're friends now, right? You've eaten more of Sanji's food than anyone these past few days. Can't you think of something?"
