Thunder rumbled down, and the Red Force's advance faltered.
"Hmm."
Looking at the sky, which had been a vast expanse of blue waves just moments ago, Shanks frowned.
High above, he sensed an aura that was both familiar and unfamiliar.
"Could it be you, kid?"
His hand resting on Gryphon at his waist, the great pirate's expression turned solemn.
"It's been a long time, Shanks."
Lightning flashed again, and a colossal Dharma form slowly descended from the clouds.
Coldly looking down at the matchbox-sized Red Force beneath him, his silver eyes held no emotion.
"Ha, it really is you, kid."
He had not been certain before, but upon seeing the face that bore an eighty- to ninety-percent resemblance to the Dharma form, Shanks laughed heartily. There was not the slightest trace of panic in him; he was utterly carefree.
"That's Marine Supreme Commander, Admiral White Dragon?!"
"How could he be this strong? Unbelievable."
"Hmm, I used to think Marine admirals were nothing special, but now..."
Shanks could chat and laugh with the enormous Dharma form manifested by Yatogami Long Yi, but his pirate crew could not remain so calm.
They had met Yatogami Long Yi once during the Summit War.
He had been strong, certainly, but only on the same level as Rayleigh and their own captain.
But now...
Uh, could a human really reach such a level in two or three years?!
"Hey, pull yourselves together! Don't disgrace the Red Hair Pirates!"
Seeing that those who had been so lively moments ago had actually been frightened limp by the enemy admiral, Benn Beckman's anger flared.
What kind of skill was it to act tough only among themselves? What a bunch of embarrassments!
"Hahahaha, kid, it's inconvenient talking to you like this. Want to come down and have a drink?"
