"Destroy my hometown..."
Before a small, dilapidated church-like building, Reg stood in the shadows and rubbed his brow. Along the way, he had not seen a single house that was intact.
This place seemed to have been forgotten... There was no electricity, no guards, only the occasional glow of Lamp Dials.
Reg put himself in Enel's shoes for a moment... If he had grown up in such an environment, he might have done the same.
But that thought was cut short almost as soon as it began... The church doors cracked open, and a child shorter than him by a head appeared, cautiously looking around.
Under the moonlight, Reg made out the figure in patched clothes... pale yellow curls, long earlobes nearly reaching his shoulders, and a pointed nose.
"Does he still have wings at this age? And those Thunder Drums on his back..."
"Who's there?!"
The voice sounded somewhat familiar, yet young and lacking confidence... As he called out, Enel took a Lamp Dial from the satchel at his side.

The Lamp Dial switched on, casting a weak beam of light over empty space.
"Was that an illusion...?"
Enel frowned, the corner of his mouth twitching from the swollen bruise around his right eye.
"Whew... That was close."
Reg, who had moved away and put some distance between them a moment earlier, was startled. His senses were far too sharp.
Still unconvinced, Enel swept the surrounding area with the Lamp Dial a few more times. Only after confirming that no one else was there did he gently close the doors and run north.
"Natural Observation Haki? No... He's very similar to how I was before my Observation Haki awakened."
