Hiruzen Sarutobi and Itachi Uchiha discussed the Uchiha massacre, Chiyu’s defection, and Itachi’s future in Akatsuki. After Konoha publicly declared them rogue ninja, Itachi joined Obito Uchiha and traveled to meet Akatsuki’s leader.
