Chapter Summaries

Chiyu warned the gathered forces about the threats awaiting them in the Land of Rain and asked Naruto Uzumaki to protect Sōshi Uzumaki. He then pursued Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to stop him from implanting a Karma in Sōshi.

• Sōshi Uzumaki learned that Chiyu had left because of his Karma mark and eagerly prepared to fight alongside his father.
• Naruto Uzumaki reunited with Miyuki Uzumaki, while Minato Namikaze watched them from a distance and Hyuga Hiashi confronted Hyuga Neji’s evolved Tenseigan.
• Chiyu appeared as a Shadow Clone, confirmed Sōshi’s Karma mark was gone, and asked Naruto to stay with Sōshi because someone was targeting him.
• Chiyu warned Yahiko about the White Zetsu, Akatsuki, Ten-Tails, Madara Uchiha, and Black Zetsu’s Impure World Reincarnation, and Yahiko understood that they must let Madara become the Ten-Tails’ Jinchuriki.
• Chiyu told Kushina Uzumaki to wait for him, then pursued Ōtsutsuki Isshiki through portals using Kamui to prevent him from implanting Karma in Sōshi.

Chiyu pursued Ōtsutsuki Isshiki through multiple portals and discovered a second, smaller Ten-Tails in a Pocket Dimension. Meanwhile, Madara Uchiha prepared to become the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki as the Ninja Alliance fought the White Zetsu, and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki found Sōshi Uzumaki and tried to implant Karma into him.

• Chiyu followed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki through a confusing network of portals and found a restrained Ten-Tails in a Pocket Dimension.
• The Ninja Alliance fought the White Zetsu while Black Zetsu and Madara Uchiha used Impure World Reincarnation to raise powerful fighters as reinforcements.
• Madara Uchiha waited atop the Ten-Tails for it to absorb enough Chakra so he could become its Jinchuriki.
• Sōshi Uzumaki and Naruto Uzumaki fought the White Zetsu, with Sōshi using Sage Mode and Wood Release.

Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Hyuga Neji failed to defeat Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, who nearly implanted Karma into Sōshi. Orochimaru intervened with Urashiki’s transplanted Rinnegan and a toxin that weakened Isshiki’s eyes, but Isshiki escaped to a Pocket Dimension after warning that a more powerful enemy was coming.

• Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Hyuga Neji attacked Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, but he pierced them with Chakra Rods and seized Sōshi.
• Orochimaru emerged from Sōshi’s clothes, bit Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, and rescued Sōshi, Naruto, and Neji.
• Orochimaru revealed that he had transplanted Ōtsutsuki Urashiki’s Rinnegan and cells, and explained that his toxin damaged Ōtsutsuki eyes when they used ocular techniques.
• Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s vision blurred after using Sukuna Hikona, while Orochimaru said Isshiki could no longer implant Karma into Cang Nagi.
• Ōtsutsuki Isshiki claimed that a woman who had eaten the Divine Tree Fruit was more powerful than him, then entered a Pocket Dimension to hide.

Chiyu and Orochimaru prepared Sōshi Uzumaki to fight the Ten-Tails by giving him the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, then met the Sage of Six Paths, who urged them to let Naruto and Sasuke grow through the coming battle. Chiyu refused to promise that he and Orochimaru would stay out of the fight.

• Orochimaru told Sōshi Uzumaki that the coming battle belonged to the younger ninja, while he and Chiyu would wait until Kaguya Otsutsuki appeared.
• Chiyu brought Orochimaru and Sōshi Uzumaki into his Pocket Dimension and showed them the juvenile Ten-Tails he had found in Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's dimension.
• Chiyu gave Sōshi Uzumaki a compatible pair of Mangekyō Sharingan, and Orochimaru transplanted them, awakening Sōshi Uzumaki's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
• Chiyu sent Sōshi Uzumaki back to the battlefield to fight alongside Naruto and the others, telling him not to worry about Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.

Chiyu rejected the Sage of Six Paths’ demand to stay out of the conflict, then agreed to a deal that gave Sōshi Uzumaki Indra’s and Asura’s Chakra in exchange for limited noninterference. On the battlefield, the alliance defeated several members of Madara Uchiha’s faction, while Ōtsutsuki Isshiki searched for a way to regain the advantage.

• Chiyu argued with the Sage of Six Paths and agreed that he and Orochimaru would not intervene before Kaguya Otsutsuki appeared, except to save people they cherished and Naruto and Sasuke from certain death.
• The Sage of Six Paths offered to give Sōshi Uzumaki Indra’s and Asura’s Chakra and help him awaken the Rinnegan, warning that the process would bring him near death.
• Ōtsutsuki Isshiki discovered that his juvenile Ten-Tails was gone and decided to pursue the half Divine Tree Fruit as his last chance.
• Sasuke Uchiha arrived at the battlefield as the allied ninjas fought Madara Uchiha’s faction and its White Zetsu army.
• Ōnoki stopped Deidara’s C0 Self-Destruction, Killer B and Raikage A killed Kisame Hoshigaki, and Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato sealed Hidan.

Madara Uchiha overwhelmed the Ninja Alliance Army, destroying its forces with meteors, Susanoo clones, and Limbo. After Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hyuga Neji were struck down, Chiyu rescued them into the Pocket Dimension, leaving Madara Uchiha facing the remaining alliance.

• Naruto Uzumaki, Sōshi Uzumaki, Hyuga Neji, Sōshi Uzumaki's Susanoo, Kakashi, and Sasuke Uchiha worked together to destroy Madara Uchiha's two meteors, while Minato Namikaze saved Miyuki Uzumaki from falling debris and apologized before leaving.
• Madara Uchiha created more than a dozen Wood Clones with Susanoo and devastated the Ninja Alliance Army with Yasaka Magatama.

Chiyu sent Sōshi, Naruto, Sasuke, and Hyuga Neji back to the battlefield as the Ten-Tails entered its third stage.

• Orochimaru treated the severely injured Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hyuga Neji inside Kamui's Pocket Dimension while Madara Uchiha prepared to become the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki.
• The Sage of Six Paths gave Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha Six Paths power and Yin-Yang sealing power so they could seal Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Madara Uchiha absorbed the Ten-Tails and fought Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hyuga Neji, who coordinated their new powers to restrain his Limbo shadows and strike him. After Madara absorbed the Divine Tree and unleashed Chibaku Tensei on the Ninja Alliance Army, Minato Namikaze used Flying Thunder God to teleport several falling rocky spheres away.

• Madara Uchiha absorbed the Ten-Tails, gained Six Paths Power, and summoned part of the Divine Tree.
• Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hyuga Neji sensed or saw Madara's Limbo shadows and worked together to restrain them.
• Madara Uchiha attacked the group with Yin Release: Lightning Dispatch, but Naruto Uzumaki's Lava Release: Rasenshuriken struck him after Sōshi accelerated it.
• Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha severed the Divine Tree with a combined attack, and Madara absorbed the tree into his body.
• Madara Uchiha used Chibaku Tensei to send enormous rocky spheres toward the Ninja Alliance Army, and Minato Namikaze teleported several away with Flying Thunder God.

Madara Uchiha cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, trapping nearly everyone in the world while Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sōshi Uzumaki remained free. Madara confronted the three and prepared to kill them, leaving the fight poised to continue.

• Minato Namikaze, the Ninja Alliance Army, Naruto Uzumaki, Hyuga Neji, and Sasuke Uchiha worked to destroy the stone spheres while Sōshi Uzumaki held off Madara Uchiha’s Limbo shadows.
• Chiyu protected the allied fighters from the Kamui Dimension, and Orochimaru warned him that Madara Uchiha was about to act.
• Madara Uchiha awakened the Rinne Sharingan and cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, then used Divine Deep Forest Emergence to restrain the genjutsu’s victims.

Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu betrayed Madara Uchiha, revealing that Black Zetsu had manipulated him to revive Kaguya Otsutsuki. As the Divine Tree began absorbing Chakra and Madara Uchiha transformed, Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha were freed from Black Zetsu’s attack, but Chiyu and Orochimaru warned them the process could not be stopped.

• Obito Uchiha triggered neurotoxin in Madara Uchiha’s eyes, took his left Rinnegan, and Black Zetsu pierced Madara Uchiha’s chest.
• Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu revealed that Black Zetsu had manipulated Madara Uchiha and sought to revive Kaguya Otsutsuki.
• The Divine Tree began absorbing Chakra, and Madara Uchiha’s body swelled as his final Limbo shadow disappeared.
• Black Zetsu bound Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha with strands of hair, but Obito Uchiha and Kakashi used Susanoo and Kamui Shuriken to free them.
• Chiyu and Orochimaru emerged from the Pocket Dimension and told the others they could not interrupt the process and should save their Chakra for the final battle.

Kaguya Otsutsuki emerged after Black Zetsu used Madara Uchiha to resurrect her, while Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha freed the shinobi from the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Kaguya fought Chiyu and the others, then absorbed Minato Namikaze’s attack and struck him down as more shinobi joined the battle.

• Black Zetsu revealed that Madara Uchiha had been used as a pawn and transformed him into Kaguya Otsutsuki, leaving Madara barely alive.
• Chiyu explained how to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha joined hands to release the trapped shinobi.
• Kaguya Otsutsuki recognized Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, learned from Black Zetsu that Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was alive, and prepared to defend her nursery.
• Chiyu attacked Kaguya Otsutsuki, but she repelled his techniques and launched Rabbit Hair Needle at him and the others.
• Minato Namikaze attacked Kaguya Otsutsuki with a Sage Art: Tailed Beast Rasengan as the Third Raikage A, Mei Terumi, Ōnoki, and other shinobi arrived.
• Kaguya Otsutsuki absorbed Minato Namikaze’s Rasengan, struck him with Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, and sent him flying with his arm trapped in her hair.

Kaguya Otsutsuki separated the allied ninjas into different pocket dimensions while Minato Namikaze was badly injured. On the battlefield, Obito Uchiha killed Madara Uchiha, then joined forces with the surviving ninjas to open a passage toward Kaguya's dimensions.

• Kaguya Otsutsuki used Amenominaka to send most of the ninjas to Supergravity Space and Chiyu, Orochimaru, Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha to Lava Space.
• Miyuki Uzumaki healed Minato Namikaze and told him she might reconsider their relationship if he stopped being Minato Namikaze of Konoha.
• Obito Uchiha confronted Madara Uchiha, told him he had been deceived and would torment him in the afterlife, then killed him and burned his body.
• Obito Uchiha explained that Kaguya had sent the others to two pocket dimensions and that he lacked the Chakra to reach them alone.
• Uchiha Hikari offered to transfer Chakra to Obito, and the surviving ninjas agreed to risk their lives against Kaguya.
• Obito used Kamui to connect to one of the space-time fluctuations and opened a passage.

Obito Uchiha rescued the ninjas trapped in Kaguya Otsutsuki’s Supergravity Space and told them to support the fighters who could defeat her. In the Lava Space, Kaguya thwarted Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha’s attempt to seal her, then separated the remaining fighters into different Pocket Dimensions.

• Obito Uchiha used Banshō Ten'in, fueled by Chakra from Uchiha Hikari and the other ninjas, to pull everyone out of the Supergravity Space.
• Obito Uchiha warned the rescued ninjas that Kaguya Otsutsuki would return and said Chiyu, Orochimaru, Sōshi Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha were the ones who could defeat her.
• Orochimaru, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sōshi Uzumaki, and Chiyu attacked Kaguya Otsutsuki in the Lava Space, but she absorbed one attack and countered with Rabbit Hair Needle, Natural Assimilation, and All-Killing Ash Bones.
• Chiyu struck Kaguya Otsutsuki with Unseen Peak: Technique Reversal, and Sasuke Uchiha used Amenotejikara to set her up for Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha to seal her.
• Kaguya Otsutsuki transferred herself and the others to the Ice and Snow Space, froze Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and attacked Chiyu, Orochimaru, and Sōshi Uzumaki with Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.
• Chiyu sent Orochimaru and Sōshi Uzumaki into a Pocket Dimension, while Sasuke Uchiha freed himself and Naruto Uzumaki; after Black Zetsu urged Kaguya Otsutsuki to focus on Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, she transported Chiyu and Sasuke Uchiha into separate Pocket Dimensions.

Chiyu returned to the Shinobi World and helped arrange a coordinated attack while Kaguya Otsutsuki and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki fought over the Divine Tree Fruit. Ōtsutsuki Isshiki killed Kaguya and nearly claimed the fruit, but Chiyu, Sōshi Uzumaki, and Orochimaru killed him before he could reach it.

• Chiyu escaped Kaguya Otsutsuki’s Acid Space, returned Kushina Uzumaki and the others to the Shinobi World, and told them to stay out of the coming battle.
• Chiyu found Obito Uchiha, who reported that the allied ninjas were ready to attack Kaguya when she appeared, and asked him to rescue Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha from her space.
• When Kaguya appeared, the allied ninjas attacked, and Sōshi Uzumaki accelerated their techniques so they struck her before she could absorb them.
• Ōtsutsuki Isshiki attacked Kaguya, summoned the Divine Tree’s power from her body, and fed her to the Ten-Tails as the Divine Tree Fruit began to mature.
• Black Zetsu possessed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki just as he approached the fruit, allowing Chiyu, Sōshi Uzumaki, and Orochimaru to strike and kill him.

Chiyu and Sōshi Uzumaki killed Black Zetsu after the Ten-Tails stripped Kaguya Otsutsuki of the Divine Tree Fruit’s power. Chiyu became the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki and took the ripe Divine Tree Fruit into his Pocket Dimension, where Kaguya and the others followed for a final struggle over it.

• Sōshi Uzumaki discovered that Black Zetsu was losing his immortality and vaporized him with a lightning attack.
• The Ten-Tails expelled Kaguya Otsutsuki and unleashed natural disasters across the battlefield.
• Chiyu absorbed the Ten-Tails, entered Six Paths Mode, and stopped Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha from sealing Kaguya after he revealed she was no longer immortal.
• Chiyu and Kaguya raced for the ripe Divine Tree Fruit, but Chiyu warped it into his Pocket Dimension while Kakashi removed Kaguya’s hand with Kamui.
• Kaguya entered Chiyu’s Pocket Dimension, and Sōshi Uzumaki, Orochimaru, Obito Uchiha, Kakashi, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha followed.

Chiyu and his allies killed Kaguya Otsutsuki, ending the war, and Chiyu vowed to guard the Shinobi World against the Otsutsuki Clan. After the survivors began rebuilding, Chiyu and Kushina Uzumaki set out to travel the world.

• Kaguya Otsutsuki tried to reach the Divine Tree Fruit, but Sōshi Uzumaki disrupted her and Chiyu seized and ate it, awakening a blue Rinne Sharingan.
• Chiyu bound Kaguya Otsutsuki’s soul, allowing his allies to damage her across dimensions, then led them to the Starting Ball Space for the final attack that killed her.
• Chiyu returned to the Shinobi World, promised the Sage of Six Paths he would oppose the Otsutsuki Clan, and watched the Sage depart for the Pure Land.
• Obito Uchiha tried to revive Rin Nohara with Rinne Rebirth, but Rin refused to leave him, and Obito died with Kakashi Uchiha beside him.
• Six months later, the shinobi rebuilt their lives, Chiyu released the nine tailed beasts and kept the Ten-Tails as a future safeguard, then left on a journey with Kushina Uzumaki.
