Background / History

Song Jiajia is Hu Lai's deskmate. Early in their friendship, he lends Hu Lai ten yuan out of pity, only for Hu Lai to keep the money and call him his “true friend,” prompting Song Jiajia to angrily demand it back. His round build prevents him from catching the much thinner Hu Lai when Hu Lai runs away. 4

He initially considers Hu Lai's obsession with football harmful. He openly recounts Hu Lai's embarrassing mistakes on the pitch and argues that a hobby that brings only ridicule is not worth pursuing; instead, he repeatedly invites Hu Lai to play PUBG with him. 8

Despite his objections to football, Song Jiajia becomes one of Hu Lai's most consistent supporters.
