Xu Xiaoyan froze in the doorway, one hand still raised to rub her eyes.
Her pajamas hung loose from her shoulders, and her long blue hair spilled over her collarbones. Fresh out of bed, she still had a red pillow mark on her cheek.
But her eyes were wide as saucers.
Gu Yue had one hand braced against the door, trapping Lin Xun in her arms. Their faces were so close they could have counted each other's eyelashes.
Xu Xiaoyan's mind went blank with a buzz.
Then she slapped both hands over her face, fast as a reflex, and mumbled, "I didn't see anything!"
But though her hands covered her face, her fingers were spread wide, revealing a pair of bright eyes between them.

Xu Xiaoyan kept her hands over her face, her eyes fixed between her fingers. A blush slowly crept across her cheeks.
