Chapter 48

There was actually a problem with Leng Yaozhu's plotline. I could feel it as soon as I finished writing that chapter, but I was really stuck on the writing.

So right after finishing it, I immediately wrote the second chapter. A major rewrite wasn't realistic, so I could only speed up the pacing and transition past it. Tomorrow, I'll write two big chapters and try to move through it quickly.

My writer's block might be a little different from other people's. I could actually write normally by following the established progression, but I always wanted to make every chapter more interesting—not just by looking for memes or funny dialogue, but also figuring out how to work them in.

As a result, every time I finished a chapter, I ended up feeling lost about how to write the next one.

So if I really couldn't come up with an interesting twist or plot design, I'd just update a few more chapters and do my best to transition through it.

Before long, I'll first write about Little Yan's King, followed by Na'er during Shrek City's study tour, then the Auspicious Beast's plotline. The two Ice and Snow Emperors won't appear until the middle stages.

Overall, the plot won't progress too quickly. After all, this type of story focuses more on the various female characters.

And the harem drama between them.

There won't be too much dragging things out. When they should recognize each other, they will. The reason Leng Yaozhu's chapter was poorly written was because I only wanted her to recognize him sooner; there was no point in dragging it out endlessly.

But the method of having her recognize him was somewhat misguided.

And a little spoiler: Yue Zhengyu no longer exists as a character, but there will be a new character replacing his role. I mentioned before that this would be a descendant of the protagonist and Qian Renxue's bloodline.

Likewise, Douluo II has no Ye Guyi either. This is a chain reaction.
