Lin Xun rubbed his aching forehead helplessly. Under the covers, Wu Siduo held her breath and did not dare move.

Her expression was cool and aloof, though there was a hint of barely noticeable awkwardness in her brows. She held a cup of hot tea, with none of her usual gentle demeanor.
"Lin Xun, you're not asleep yet?"
Lin Xun kept his expression calm. "Not yet. What is it? Do you need something?"
Gu Yue raised her chin slightly, her gaze sweeping straight into the room. It was pitch-black inside, too dark to see clearly. Her tone was flat and unreadable.
