Background / History

Originally known as the mysterious guardian, Gray Shadow is spared by Ximen Qing after the latter fuses with the Saiyan Royal Bloodline. Ximen Qing gives him the name Gray Shadow and appoints him as his personal guard; Gray Shadow pledges his loyalty in return. 26

He remains alert during Earth's celebration after Ximen Qing's ascension, recognizing his lord's concern when a powerful presence is sensed at the edge of the universe. 27 Gray Shadow later accompanies Ximen Qing and Nappa into the depths of the universe to investigate the source of that aura, which leads them to Dark Abyss. 29

Following the discovery of the black token, Ximen Qing assigns Gray Shadow to examine its energy and investigate its unknown resonance. He joins Ximen Qing and Nappa in responding to the Western Pole Star System's distress signal. 33

Personality

Gray Shadow is consistently vigilant, disciplined, and unwaveringly loyal to Ximen Qing. He readily accepts dangerous assignments, from investigating unknown token energy to defending Earth against Dark Guardians and Black Altar forces. 27 33 36
