With North Carolina blue surrounding the home court, the Lakers and Hornets' NBA Christmas Day Games matchup entered its second half!

"He has! Rider is bringing the ball up!" Magic Johnson exclaimed as soon as the game resumed.

"Rider steadily brings the ball across half court under Eddie Jones's defense."

Rider was still an All-Star-caliber guard, after all. Even with Eddie Jones guarding him, getting across half court was no problem.

Once across half court, the ball went neither to Jordan nor Hill!

It went to Divac!

At the elbow, Divac caught the ball.

He turned slightly and saw Ben Wallace pressing up on him while O'Neal lurked in the paint.

Divac waited!

The next instant!

Hill cut backdoor!

Jackson forced himself to keep up!

But Hill still received the ball comfortably along the baseline.

"What's this?"

"A high-low post-up?"

For a moment, Ben Wallace had no idea whether he should help on Hill or stay with Divac.

With his back to the basket, Hill had a clear view of everything happening on the court. Helping off him now would be practically giving away points!

But letting Hill isolate against Jackson?

Ben Wallace's instincts told him that wasn't a good choice either.

Sure enough, in the next instant, Hill took a long stride, spun, and drove inside.

He got to the basket and softly lofted the ball in before O'Neal's help defense arrived.

"Good!" The Zen Master remained expressionless, but inside, he was ecstatic!
