Tver froze for a moment, looking puzzledly at the group of young witches who had suddenly appeared. But he really was in a good mood, so he stopped walking.
"Today is Sunday. Aren't you planning to enjoy this bit of free time properly? Winter sunlight is quite rare, you know."
Seeing that the professor had not refused outright, the girl was already quietly thrilled.
"No matter how rare the sunshine is, it's still not as rare as seeing you, Professor!"
Recently, the professor had vanished whenever he was not teaching, and he had not shown himself at all yesterday!
Her companion boldly chimed in, "What could be more perfect than receiving your guidance during such lovely free time, Professor?"
Sensing the professor's attitude softening, the witches began throwing out compliments as though they cost nothing.
The students nearby also caught wind of something unusual and hurried over in a jog, chattering over one another as they voiced their small hopes to the professor.
Looking at their excited little faces, Tver smiled helplessly and raised a hand, stopping them.
"All right, but forget
