Yu Ci found it quite amusing. Over the past two days, the major situation over at Sky Rift was mostly settled, but the miscellaneous aftermath chores were only growing. As the only external Daoist temple in the direction of Juebi City, Zhixin Temple could not avoid certain matters. Yu Zhou no longer had leisurely days, and Baoguang, as the old Daoist's sole registered disciple and errand-runner, naturally could not escape either.
Today they finally managed to steal a moment of leisure, following Yu Ci over, and right now were having a blast.
Yet Baoguang tagging along had its benefits, for Yu Ci finally found the time to voice the doubts that had been bottled up in his heart for days:
"Hey, what's the deal with the Xiyu Alliance? Do you know?"
The Xiyu Alliance he spoke of was one of several concepts brought up a few days ago during the dispute between Li You and Meng Wei, alongside unfamiliar names like the Myriad Manifestations Sect and Murong Qingyan.
Among them, Yu Ci had once heard Ye Tu mention the name of the Xiyu Alliance. Only back beneath Sky Rift, the core of their discussion was still cultivation, and they had brushed past such information in a sentence. After so much time apart, the impression had long since faded. Thus, he had no choice but to inquire once more.
"The Xiyu Alliance?"
Baoguang was actually a half-baked scholar himself, almost stumped by this question. Only by desperately racking his brain for his master's usual teachings did he respond somewhat uncertainly:
"It's a very large alliance of sects in the east. Um, it's too far from us, so people don't usually mention it much. Senior Brother Li frequently travels outside, so he should know a bit more."
This answer left Yu Ci
