Mind Images Command Phenomena...
Yu Ci grinned. In the Xuan Yuan Gen Ben Qi Fa, so-called phenomena referred to things of form and spirit such as bones, blood, essence, and soul; so-called mind images were simpler, more intuitive images abstracted from form and spirit, then drawn according to one's own grasp. They were symbols of phenomena and naturally commanded them.
In cultivating the Xuan Yuan Gen Ben Qi Fa, drawing a mind image roughly corresponded to the mid-stage of Spirit Communion, the work of Refining Yin God. Previously, Yu Ci had relied on structural deduction to cleverly determine where his mind image lay, thereby achieving his Yin God. In truth, however, his mind image had not yet truly taken shape, leaving a flaw in his cultivation.
But now, that flaw had been erased.
Yu Ci had indeed never truly drawn out a mind image, and even now, that remained so. This was originally a long, grinding task; without sudden enlightenment, taking three or five years was nothing unusual. Yet Yu Ci had another stroke of fortune.
That fortune was the True Dragon Form Qi within the Inner Void.
From the moment the True Dragon Form Qi had forced its way into the Inner Void, it had seized the position of the originally unformed mind image through the overwhelming force of its Heavenly Dragon True Intent, becoming the center of the Inner Void. It was equivalent to swallowing the mind image whole. The consequence should have been destructive, but because the True Dragon Form Qi possessed no clear consciousness, only primal instinct, it had ultimately failed to overcome Yu Ci's unyielding will and had instead been brought under his control.
