Fortunately, the pagoda hung overhead, and its core area remained fairly stable. Rippling like water, it protected the people within.
There were no fewer than five people crammed into the flying shuttle, old and young alike. One of them was a seventeen- or eighteen-year-old young Daoist, tears and snot streaming down his face, his features twisted. No matter how chaotic things became outside, he only looked toward the Purple-Haired Daoist. He was clearly the one who had just cried out, "Master!"
