Qiu Pei's body gave a violent jolt. At that instant, she practically wanted to offer a kiss to the person knocking on the door.
Immediately afterward, the voice of Liang Jian, another Longevity True Man aboard the Sky Domain Shuttle, drifted in:
"Manager Qiu, are you all in there?"
Since they were all Longevity True Man, there were not so many taboos between them. Besides, Liang Jian had not yet grasped the situation up to this point, so he pushed the door open as he spoke, only to freeze noticeably upon seeing the scene inside.
Yet he had matters on his mind and did not dwell on it. He nodded at Qiu Pei, then turned to address Ying Fen: "Brother Ying, I see our course is somewhat deviated, our contact with the northern sector hub is rather unstable, and there are signs of a Demon Tide flowing ahead. Could we be nearing Huayang Cave?"
Ying Fen made no response, while Wu Yuanlang chuckled: "Ah, that. It is likely we are too close to the True Realm and encountered some kind of Aurora Yuan Magnetism eruption..."
Even so, neither he nor Ying Fen showed any intention of correcting the course.
Qiu Pei, who was at her most sensitive right then, felt the atmosphere shifting.
She tried her best not to look at Wu and Ying, wanting to retreat backward—at least to a place closer to Liang Jian. Yet with her level of cultivation, the flow of her vital breath appeared almost transparent in the eyes of the three Longevity True Men. The very moment her mind stirred, Ying Fen's sharp gaze pierced straight toward her.
Qiu Pei's breath choked once again, folding the resolution she had just made right back in half.
