Ten Demon Inner Prohibition, One Mother, Same Birth (Lower)

Near the end of the previous kalpa, several major events occurred in quick succession within the cultivation world.

For instance, the Shangqing Sect, a major northern faction, suffered a demonic calamity purge and its transmission was severed; the Primordial Demon Sect, a super-faction, suffered a violent internal conflict that left it fragmented, and so on. These were all massive upheavals that affected the landscape of the cultivation world.

There was also Tai Xuan Demon Mother taking on disciples and imparting teachings, founding Ruizhu Palace in the southern lands; Half-Mountain Island's original master Ye Banshan suddenly abdicating, and the female immortal Ye Bin stepping into the spotlight, among others—all events that left a deep impression.

Yet what people found most delightful and loved to gossip about above all else was how Madame Yellow Springs, a proud talent of her generation in the Primordial Demon Sect, betrayed the sect and gave her body to Donghua True Lord Lu Chen, who was hailed as the "number one person since five kalpas." This affair eventually spawned at least a dozen versions, each sweeping the trends for a time and enduring down to the present day.

However, the true lives of Lu Chen and Madame Yellow Springs were known and understood by very few.

At the dawn of this kalpa, within Donghua Palace, the sole bloodline of Lu Chen and Madame Yellow Springs was born—an exquisite, doll-like daughter named Suhua. From the very moment of her birth, Lu Suhua displayed anomalies: she never slept and was prone to sudden shifts in temperament. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that two mutually interfering consciousnesses were born together within a single womb.

Lu Chen and Madame Yellow Springs were not surprised in the least.
