After his yin spirit left his body, his perception of all manner of sensations between Heaven and Earth rose to another level. He could see things he had once overlooked; there was nothing strange about that.

What was strange was the origin of the crimson cloud and blood-light billowing up in the courtyard. Bao Yun was not a cultivator of exceptional talent, nor was her mind on cultivation, yet that crimson cloud and blood-light faintly connected with the outside world, possessing a mystery all its own.

Even from outside the courtyard, Yu Ci could sense that the crimson cloud and blood-light echoed remotely with his yin spirit's aura. It carried a force of attraction, luring him closer.

Yu Ci concealed his yin spirit, turning into a breeze as he entered the courtyard and drifted closer to Bao Yun. Bao Yun was clearly unaware of it all. She still looked melancholy and downcast, sighing softly. It was rare to see her reveal such a fragile bearing, yet it lent her another kind of charm, stirring Yu Ci's heart slightly.

At that very moment, the mass of crimson cloud and blood-light spread open for no reason, like petals blooming. Within it curled a beautiful woman utterly bare, without a shred of clothing to cover her. Her features bore some resemblance to Bao Yun's, yet her skin was nearly transparent, with pink radiance flowing beneath it, dreamlike and illusory.

The beautiful woman's eyes had been closed, but upon sensing Yu Ci's gaze, she slowly opened them. Colored light flowed within, meeting Yu Ci's eyes directly.
