The Collectors lurking within the insectoid race used various covert means of communication to formulate a plan targeting the insectoid race as a whole.

As the insectoid race and the Kersians resumed their battle, the Collectors began to act.

Inside an insect hive whose control had been seized by the Collectors, a high-powered biological radio organ began charging.

It was supplied with five grams of antimatter, sourced from fifty tiny individuals. Each tiny individual carried a reactor loaded with 0.1 grams of antimatter.

The antimatter reactors were both the tiny individuals' energy source and their means of suicide to prevent their genes from falling into the insectoid race's hands.

Now that the antimatter had been handed over, the fifty tiny individuals preemptively dismantled their own genes and committed suicide to prevent the species' genetic information from leaking.

To the Collectors, this was nothing more than a negligible sacrifice.

"The time has come. It's time to call the swarm over."

The Collector lurking inside the insect hive muttered to itself and released an extraordinarily powerful radio signal. Ripples of electromagnetic waves spread outward at the speed of light.

At the same time that signal was released, the insect hive and the Collectors within it were nearing their end.

To prevent any Collector from being captured by the insectoid race and leaking genetic information that could endanger the entire species, not a single Collector individual could be taken alive!

The insectoid race noticed the anomaly. There was no way they could not notice it, because every radio-receiving organ they possessed was now as useless as a blind man's eyes.
