"Why wasn't I Sun Wukong?"

Beasley blankly controlled his stone monster character. His character had appeared amid a jagged, bizarre mountain range, with desolation stretching all around.

But when Beasley moved the mouse, he could see blue-green peaks beyond the stone mountain where he stood. There seemed to be traces of life there.

Without giving it much thought, Beasley watched the stone monster move as though on crutches, using its two stone arms, and felt the urge to delete the character and start over. He immediately put that urge into action.

Very quickly, however, a system prompt informed Beasley that deleting a character from his current account and creating another one required a three-day wait. As for creating a new character, that could only be done one month after the game's launch.

Of course, there was another way to immediately play a new character: simply register another account.

Unfortunately, registering a new account required a brand-new phone number. As a foreign friend, Beasley had no Chinese ID and could not complete real-name verification in China, so he was unable to register a new account there anytime soon.

If he deleted this character, he could only wait three days.

Shaking his head, Beasley knew that quitting the game during its first few days would leave him far behind everyone else.

Beasley decided to make do with this character.

Before long, Beasley opened the stone monster's information panel.
