The Might of Frieza's Final Form

Frieza floated in the air with his arms folded, his face expressionless. His diamond-shaped eyes coldly fixed on Goku in the distance. He raised his right index finger and pointed it at Goku, softly uttering a single word.

"Bang!"

A red laser instantly pierced through Goku's chest. Goku's eyes widened as he looked down. There was a small charred hole in the right side of his chest, surrounded by scorched blood.

"Goku!" Everyone anxiously looked at Goku and shouted.

"Ah..." Goku clutched his chest and coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"How was that? That attack didn't feel good, did it?" Frieza's lips curled upward. Seeing Goku cry out in pain made him especially happy.

"Damn it... I couldn't see the attack's... trajectory at all." Goku gritted his teeth as he glared at Frieza.

Fortunately, Frieza had cauterized the wound, so Goku felt that he could still fight. With that thought, he decisively activated tenfold Kaio-ken, intending to end this quickly. Red energy surged around his body once more.

Goku vanished from where he stood and instantly appeared behind Frieza, throwing a punch. Yet his fist was easily caught. Frieza then used his hands, feet, and tail to relentlessly attack Goku's body.

The powerful blows continuously battered his body, and combined with the burden of Kaio-ken, Goku could no longer endure it. Before long, he returned to normal and was barely clinging to life. Finding it boring, Frieza tossed him toward the others.

"How dull. I merely returned your own fighting style to you, yet you were already finished before I'd even warmed up." Frieza floated in the air with his arms elegantly folded.

Krillin leaped up and caught Goku, gently laying him down. He began pulling Senzu Beans from the pouch behind him and fed one to Goku. What Frieza did not know was that he would soon regret this action.

After eating the Senzu Bean, Goku fully recovered and moved his body around. He felt his strength had increased several times over. Looking at Frieza again, he said, "Frieza, I won't let my guard down again."

With that, Goku decisively activated tenfold Kaio-ken and instantly appeared in front of Frieza. Frieza was sent flying along with the words that had yet to leave his mouth as Goku's enlarged fist struck him. He blasted through several mountains, carving a huge hole between them before plowing a long, deep trench through the ground.

He happened to crash down not far from Vegeta, whom he had casually sent flying earlier. After getting up, Frieza touched his reddened cheek and noticed Vegeta sitting against a piece of rubble in the distance. Vegeta laughed.

"Hahaha, Frieza, you'd better use all your strength against him." Vegeta continued under Frieza's puzzled gaze.

"That's right! He is the strongest warrior in the entire universe from legend—the Super Saiyan!"

"Frieza, you're finished! I never thought I'd see the day! Hahahaha!"

Furious, Frieza raised his hand and fired a purple laser at Vegeta. It passed through Vegeta's abdomen, leaving behind a massive hole, before Frieza spoke.

"You should know, Vegeta, that I hate meaningless jokes more than anything."

Goku came over from afar and stood beside Vegeta. Looking at Frieza, he said, "Frieza, Vegeta has completely lost the ability to resist. Why did you still attack him?"

"The Super Saiyan is nothing but a ridiculous legend. Who told him to put his hopes in such nonsense?" Frieza said indifferently.

"Kakarot, you're still talking about justice and morality? Aren't you a Super Saiyan?"

"You idiot, you have to be ruthless! Stop saying such childish things!" Vegeta's weak voice came through.

"Even if I die, I won't carry cruel methods through to the end like you do. Besides, I don't even know what a Super Saiyan is." Goku turned his head and said to Vegeta.

"Listen, Kakarot... you... and I were born in the same homeland, Kakarot... the planet where we were born... Planet Vegeta... wasn't destroyed by being hit by a giant meteor." Vegeta spoke painfully, word by word.

"Stop talking. You'll only speed up your death that way." Seeing Vegeta barely clinging to life, Goku could not bear it and tried to persuade him.

"Our Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza! We Saiyans were always loyal, acting as his dogs and following his orders. Even if we had no merit, we at least worked hard for him."

"But he still slaughtered our entire race. Your father... and my father both died by his hand. It was because he feared that an unknown Super Saiyan might one day be born among the Saiyans... I'm begging you... kill Frieza. Please... avenge the Saiyans..." Tears streamed down Vegeta's face as he finished speaking. He reached out toward Goku, but his hand ultimately fell limply.

Vegeta died. Beside his body were the unwilling scratch marks he had left behind, while painful, helpless tears remained on the face of the proud prince. A breeze passed over his corpse, and his words echoed in Goku's ears.

When Frieza saw that Vegeta had finally breathed his last, he lowered his arms from his chest. He had kindly waited for him to finish his final words, after all.

"I never thought I'd see you cry. You must be really unwilling to accept this, huh?" Goku said as he looked at Vegeta's body.

Beside Vegeta's corpse, Goku used an energy blast to dig a pit, then picked Vegeta up and placed him inside.

"I know you don't hate him simply because he killed all the Saiyans. It's because you were always manipulated by him and could never escape. That has tormented you so much that you lost control of your own life."

"I used to hate you, but you still never abandoned the Saiyans' pride. Give half of that pride to me!" After burying Vegeta, Goku stood up and said.

Turning around, he angrily said to Frieza, "I am a Saiyan raised on Earth. For the Saiyans you killed, and for the innocent Namekians here, I swear that I will defeat you!"

"How boring. Every time I see you showing love for your fellow kind, it makes me sick. Trash is trash, yet you still want to create a legend." Frieza said as he pretended to vomit.

"I don't give a damn about any Super Saiyan! I'm going to beat you down, you evil bastard!" Goku glared furiously at Frieza and activated tenfold Kaio-ken.

The battle between the two erupted instantly. Their fists and kicks collided relentlessly, energy blasts raged through the air, and the planet's surface was continuously devastated as smoke and dust billowed everywhere.

The moment they stopped, the entire ground had sunk by a level. When they clashed again, their contest shifted from power to speed, then to energy blasts. Energy waves continually struck all around the planet, causing widespread destruction.

Namek finally became so devastated that fire erupted from the ground and endless lava splashed outward. Yet after the two collapsed the land and seawater flooded in, it stabilized once more.

After the two stopped fighting, Frieza looked at Goku and said, "In the past, I never imagined in my dreams that there could be someone stronger than Captain Ginyu. But you still can't defeat me." With that, Frieza's aura rose once again.

"How about that? I've only used eighty percent of my power."

"Not much, is it?" Goku said. He understood that he was no longer Frieza's match in this state, so he raised his power as well. The red aura around his body became even more pronounced, reaching its peak until it looked like blazing flames.

After raising his aura, Goku no longer hesitated. He instantly appeared before Frieza and, before Frieza could react, punched him in the face and sent him flying backward. Yet before Frieza could fly too far, Goku grabbed his tail and yanked him back, then fired a point-blank Kamehameha that swallowed Frieza whole.
