Water vapor surged, blocking an arrow that came hurtling toward him.

But it had only barely blocked it. Water Vapor Manipulation was ultimately far inferior to Water Element Manipulation.

A man with eyes like a hawk's chased after him, drenched from head to toe. His breathing was heavy, and every step he took was cautious.

Yet he was not slow. He could easily keep pace with Lu Xingshi.

"A Hunter Class profession?" Lu Xingshi murmured. This type of profession excelled at tracking, traps, and ranged attacks. They knew a little close combat as well, making them jacks of all trades. Judging by this man's speed, though, he had likely focused primarily on agility. Otherwise, he would not have been able to catch Lu Xingshi.

"You were the one who poisoned the Cheng Family, weren't you?" The man's nostrils twitched before he spoke with certainty. Clearly, he had caught Lu Xingshi's scent.

From that movement and those sharp eyes, he had at least one skill that enhanced his sense of smell and vision.

He was around Level 15.

"I'm rather curious. Since you can no longer kill Otherworld Demons, how exactly have you been leveling up?" Lu Xingshi ignored the man's words and asked instead.

With the current ways of gaining experience, producing even a Level 10 Professional in the Lower District was difficult, much less a Level 15 one.

Yet this Hunter Class Holder ignored Lu Xingshi entirely and immediately drew his bow.

It was blocked by the water dragon beside Lu Xingshi, formed from violently surging water vapor.

At the sight of the water dragon, the Hunter Class Holder's pupils shrank, and wariness appeared on his face.

"Looks like you aren't willing to talk. Fine, then. I can figure it out myself anyway." After saying this softly, Lu Xingshi
