Ch. 581Xuanyuan, a Golden Immortal in a Century
Plot points and events
- Chiyou and his Witch-Human warriors find a settlement destroyed by Wind-Thunder Xingyuan Apes. After confirming the victims were human, Chiyou leads his force north to hunt the apes.
- Over several months, the Witch-Human Race destroys numerous ape colonies and clashes with larger groups, including Taiyi-level opponents. After suffering losses, Chiyou’s warriors withdraw to the Hundred Thousand Mountains, regroup, and continue fighting.
- Other races learn of the mysterious warriors but mistake them for an unusual human branch, since the Witch Race has largely been forgotten. Their campaign nonetheless eases pressure on humanity’s southern frontier.
- Guangchengzi takes the young Xuanyuan to a secluded mountain rather than Kunlun. He treats and trains him with rare spiritual medicines and the Yuanshi Golden Canon, telling him to endure if he wants revenge.
- After a century of cultivation, Xuanyuan reaches the Heavenly Immortal realm. Guangchengzi then takes him back to the Youxiong Tribe, which has grown and recovered under the protection of his wards and Youyi’s oversight.

- Chiyou shows compassion toward the murdered humans, then turns that grief into decisive action against their killers. He proves a persistent and capable leader despite repeated losses.

- Guangchengzi acts as Xuanyuan’s demanding mentor, prioritizing rapid cultivation and endurance over conventional training.
