"Quite bold of you. You actually came looking for us on your own, just as Big Brother said you would," Yazi said as he watched Mo Lin slowly approach him.
After stopping, Mo Lin was somewhat surprised. He had not really wanted to fight, so he had not activated Wind Queen's Arcane Gate, intending to resolve the matter through negotiation if possible. Yet only Yazi had come, and he was openly waiting for him.
"I thought, with your personality, you'd suddenly ambush me under the guise of a test."
"An ambush?" Yazi spat. "I don't know where you learned about me, but I disdain such shameless tactics. I've always faced my opponents head-on."
"That's good." Mo Lin breathed a sigh of relief. If even Yazi did not resort to ambushes, then the others probably would not suddenly jump out and attack him either.
"Since you don't have any concerns, let's begin!" The moment Yazi finished speaking, he vanished from where he stood. When he reentered Mo Lin's field of vision, he was less than a meter away and immediately threw a punch.
Mo Lin hurriedly crossed his arms before his chest and summoned the Winged Dragon Martial Soul. Golden dragon scales rapidly emerged across his arms, but his dragonification was still far slower than Yazi's attack.
Yazi's fist struck the untransformed portion of Mo Lin's arm, and the tremendous force sent him flying dozens of meters away in an instant.
Intense pain shot through Mo Lin's right forearm. Yazi's strike had been vicious and precise, landing on the only spot on his entire forearm that had not completed dragonification. The instant they made contact, Mo Lin's right forearm snapped. His arms had fused with and then evolved from the left and right arm bones of the Water and Fire Dragon
