Son Gohan said, the brown tail behind him swaying slightly.

"I wanted to see what the Saiyans of your universe are like."

Renso's gaze fell on the fluffy brown tail, and a trace of curiosity flashed in his eyes.

Universe 6's Saiyans had long since lost their tails. He had only ever seen such things in ancient records.

"I see."

He nodded, his tone mild.

"But the Saiyans here don't have tails."

"Still, the aura around you... really is similar. It feels strangely familiar."

He waved a hand, putting an end to the topic.

The sky was a deeper orange-red than Earth's, and the sun was larger, hanging on the horizon.

The settlement was small, with only a few dozen households. The square stone houses stood neatly arranged, and now and then, a Saiyan would poke their head out of a window to glance at the foreign visitor.

Renso led him around several places.

The settlement's training ground was out in the open, its surface pitted and uneven from what was clearly the result of years of fighting.

There was a small market nearby, where several Saiyan women had set up stalls selling charred roasted beast meat and a paste ground from some kind of root vegetable.
