Instinctively, they took her for a goddess. Her beauty had reached a level worthy of worship.
Were those sheep horns? Was she one of the sheepfolk? But she had no wool... Was she some mutated sheepfolk?
Instinctively treating her as one of the sheepfolk—the weak, fragile race hunted as food by werewolves during lean years—the werewolves' awe instantly turned to disdain.
Along with it came ugly desires.
None of them could take their eyes off her. They kept swallowing, and some even hunched over involuntarily to keep the leather armor around their crotches from chafing.
"Which demi-human tribe are you from?" The first to recover from his shock was the leading silver wolf. Wiping away the drool already spilling from his mouth, he smiled as he walked toward Aya, casually driving his machete into the ground with his other hand.
He had seen elves and worshipped the tree sprites of the forest guardians. Both were beautiful, but the being before him made every beautiful thing in the world pale into insignificance.
"Little girl, what are you doing in a dangerous place like this? Want to come back to the tribe and have some fun with big brother?" As the silver werewolf spoke, the werewolf warriors behind him grew excited, whistling and cheering him on.
"Ten..."
"Hm?" Still some distance away, the silver wolf had not heard what she said clearly. He did not stop his slow, leisurely steps. He liked pressing down on his prey's nerves by gradually closing in, and he enjoyed the look of fear and panic on their faces.
It would be even better if she turned and ran. Hunting prey was a wolf's favorite pastime.
He seemed to hear terror in her voice, confirming his judgment. This stunningly beautiful horned demi-human was definitely his prey!
Every glance at her only intensified his desire. He was so excited he could barely contain himself, and the silver wolf marveled at his good fortune—until he finally heard what she had said.

Chapter 2: Mother Goddess of Life, Part 2
Yet nothing happened.
"What was that? Tenth-tier magic? Hahaha, how could magic above the sixth tier possibly exist in this world?" The werewolf warriors burst into laughter.
"Little girl, if you're going to lie, at least make it believable."
"Hahaha, tenth-tier magic! I'm dying!"
The fact that the spell had failed made Aya's heart sink. Just moments ago, she had clearly felt the familiarity with this spell deep within her, as well as the confidence that she could cast it.
Reverse Summoning: Temple of Life was not her strongest magic, but it was the best survival skill she had. As long as she cast it on herself alone, it could instantly pull her into the temple's domain, ensuring her safety at the very least.
After all, the werewolves before her were not the kind from the game—at least, not any kind she recognized. There was no way to judge their strength. If every werewolf was level 90, then even Aya at maximum level could be defeated because she would not have time to summon anything.
That was why she had used her strongest survival spell immediately. Yet it had failed. It was hard to describe the situation as anything but terrible.
Why? Why hadn't the spell activated? She could clearly use Water Creation. Did that mean all magic and abilities were unusable now, or was it—
Aya instinctively looked at her left hand, then froze.
There was not a single ring on it—though that was merely the effect of an illusion, because she thought rings did not look good. In reality, she had ten rings equipped across both hands, but the one on her left ring finger was not the one she knew best.
Who the hell swapped out my ring?!
Without that ring's "coordinate guidance," Reverse Summoning could not activate. That was probably why she could not use that spell.
