Aya was a YGGDRASIL player whose first character was an elven ranger. She became known for an unconventional strength-focused ranger build, combining a greatbow with a one-handed sword; the style remained influential through four major game versions. Her later avatar was Aya, the Mother Goddess of Life. 5 97

After arriving in the New World in Aya’s form, she aided Est Village by resolving the werewolf crisis, healing its wounded, and offering oxen and farming magic in return for a share of the harvest. When the villagers requested a proper name, she adopted “Aya” and later chose “Valoria” as a surname inspired by a familiar name from a dream. 27
