The things you thought were impossible, I could accomplish with ease because I was stronger than you.
The Shadow Servant, Old Man of the Mountain, stared into Aya's cold eyes and read a deeper meaning within them.

"You... are stronger than me?" The Shadow Servant, Old Man of the Mountain's shoulders trembled slightly, as though he had heard something incredibly amusing.
"What kind of joke is this... How could you possibly be stronger than me... stronger than me, the Grand Assassin standing at the pinnacle of Heroic Spirits!" the Shadow Servant growled. "You must have... used some kind of item... to harm me!"
Ling silently watched him as if looking at an idiot.
"Has he gotten too immersed in his role and started believing he's real? No, his mind was incomplete to begin with..." Aya muttered to herself. "After all, he's just a defective product."
"A defective product—hah?" The Shadow Servant hunched over slightly, seemingly growing angry.
"In this world... there is simply no one... who can stand against me!"
The Shadow Servant revealed a rather nauseating smile, assuming that vicious, ugly expression of his could be called a smile.
"Though he appears to possess some intelligence, his soul itself is incomplete." Aya continued muttering to herself. "Or perhaps the Heroic Spirit chosen for the incarnation was too powerful, causing its intelligence to collapse..."
She seemingly did not regard this Shadow Servant as an enemy at all, but rather as an experimental specimen to be analyzed.
"He possesses a faint weakening ability, but finds it difficult to communicate with others? Is this all the so-called Shadow Servants are capable of?"
Aya's contemptuous attitude drove the Shadow Servant completely
