The Central Continent

The high priests exchanged glances. At last, The Cardinal of Darkness Maximilian rose to his feet.

He took a book from the floating board, then pulled out a map tucked inside it.

He unfolded the map and placed it on the table, facing the adventurers.

"This is... a world map?"

The left half of the map showed the human sphere of influence, including the Theocracy, Kingdom, Empire, Dragon Kingdom, and Holy Kingdom.

Aya had seen maps of those countries countless times, but this map also had a right side.

"These are the three great western nations, demi-human countries." As the high priest spoke, he pointed to a spot on the map.

It was a small place beside the three great western nations, now marked with a red X.

"This was a human country. Protected by the surrounding mountains, it resisted the beastmen's incursions. A month ago, the beastmen destroyed it."

Central Continent

The Slane Theocracy and the other human nations were located at the westernmost edge of the continent, with the Dragon Kingdom being the easternmost among them.

East of the Dragon Kingdom lay the region known as the "Central Continent."

This region contained six powerful countries, known as the "Central Six Great Nations." Along the edges of and in the gaps between those six nations, scattered smaller countries could be found.

None of the six great nations were human countries. They belonged to powerful demi-humans. Three of them treated humans as food, while one treated humans as slaves.
