Nazarick's Extra Floor (Continued)

The Guardians currently in the arena were Aura and Mare, the dark elf twins. One was a tomboy dressed as a boy, while the other was a boy dressed as a girl. Together, they served as the Guardians of the Sixth Floor.

"Mare, Aura." Momonga greeted them. Based on his vague memories, he tried to keep his actions and words the same as before in order to test things.

"Lord Momonga!" The lively Aura leapt directly from the stands into the arena, while the reserved and shy Mare slowly walked down.

This was exactly the same as before too. It seemed their personalities had not changed.

"Mare, Aura, do you remember someone named Aya?" Momonga asked as he looked at the twins before him.

In the original world, Mare and Aura had not known Aya, because Aya had left the game long before the twins were created.

"Lord Momonga, of course we remember Lady Aya." Aura tilted her head.

Just as expected, they remembered her too.

Momonga had indeed returned to the past. However, unlike before, this Nazarick had undergone many subtle changes.

Tsuare, the girl whom Sebas should have rescued much later and brought into Nazarick, had become a human maid who had always belonged to Nazarick.

Then there was Aya. Aya, who had originally quit the game seven years ago, had instead quit two years ago, and all the Guardians remembered her.

"How strange..." Momonga muttered to himself. "Why are these things different?"

In this world, would everything still proceed according to the previous script?

Or would it take another path for some reason?
