In a forest of ancient trees that towered into the sky, a black shadow came speeding from the distance. He was incredibly fast—so fast that before many beastly figures could even react, the black shadow had already vanished.
But just as the black shadow was about to charge out of the forest—
Several earthen walls climbed upward, turning into city walls that formed a cage and trapped the black shadow within.
"Roar!" Without any extra words, along with a thunderous roar, a gigantic figure leaped down from the far end of the sky.
When it drew closer, one could see that it was an enormous black bear.
The black shadow looked somewhat panicked, but still activated a secret art, wanting to race away.
Yet at that very instant, countless earth spikes surged out of the void, as if they had predicted his move.
Only, the black shadow had no way back. He could only drive the secret art, and in an instant, earth spikes and chunks of stone flew everywhere, the sound as loud as mountains collapsing and the earth splitting.
"Roar!" Another roar rang out, and in front of him, another gigantic figure dropped down.
It was actually two Earth-Splitting Heavenly Bear demon emperors.
With nowhere to dodge, the black shadow was also smashed apart by a single slap, turning into a puddle of blood.
What was strange, however, was that no Nascent Soul appeared.
