Inside another palace in Broken Jade City, a cultivator clad in a Spirit-Isolating Robe tunneled in through the earth from the side of the palace.
Before he could even enter the palace,
a huge mouth suddenly opened wide, about to swallow him whole in a single bite.
Then a claw swept out of the void and slapped the huge mouth aside.
"Enough! This isn't Chitao Prefecture!" A stern voice rang out, leaving the Spirit-Isolating Robe figure shaken with lingering fear.
He was certain that if that claw had been even a moment slower, he would have been swallowed alive.

The huge mouth that had been sent flying transformed into a large-mouthed humanoid figure. Its eyes were blood-red, and its hands were still claws.
Its belly bulged like that of a pregnant woman.
