It was four days later when all the attacking Decepticons were finally driven back.

He listened quietly to Thunder's report. There was not much anger in his heart; instead, his confusion deepened.

"What exactly are Starscream and the Decepticon Corps thinking?"

An assault force of Replica Soldiers on this scale might have been able to destroy any country on Earth other than the five great powers in a short time. Even among those powers, aside from the three with immense strategic depth, the two European has-beens could well have faced the danger of collapse.

But even if the scale of such an offensive were increased tenfold, Base Two could still withstand it.

The only difference would be that its losses would likely be more than ten times what they were now.
