An Eye for an Eye (Part 2)

Amid the chaos at the military camp, four squads of Chameleon mercenaries swiftly arrived near the camp.

"Remember, leave no one alive!"

Following the order issued by a Chameleon mercenary commander over the communications channel, all the mercenaries who had reached the outskirts of the camp raised their weapons in unison.

The weapons in their hands were clearly heavier than the standard-issue rifles used by nations on Earth.

And that was indeed the case. This rifle weighed as much as thirty-one kilograms, far heavier than the squad machine guns used by many countries on Earth.

If the Chameleon mercenaries had not all been wearing those exoskeleton combat suits, few of them would have been able to keep holding up such a weapon in battle.

However, its considerable weight naturally came with equally impressive functions.

"Snipers, take out the guards in the camp watchtowers!"

A commander gave the order over the channel.

At once, several mercenaries raised their standard-issue rifles and quietly commanded, "Switch to sniper mode!"

The rifle barrels in their hands extended forward by more than ten centimeters, while the scopes flashed with shifting light.

Before long, four muffled gunshots rang out at once.

As the shots sounded, the four guards standing watch atop the nearby camp towers swayed in unison before immediately collapsing out of sight.

"Targets eliminated. Continue advancing!"

Before long, all the Chameleon mercenaries had reached the vicinity of the camp.

Looking at the brick-and-stone wall over three meters tall before them, one commander ordered, "Demolition specialists, prepare to blast open the wall!"

The moment the order was given, several mercenaries positioned near the front voluntarily stepped forward and quietly commanded, "Switch to blast mode!"

In the next instant, the barrels of the rifles in their hands split apart and rapidly thickened.
