Beastmaster Tower had many floors and occupied an enormous area.

This time, Chen Wei did not ask the receptionist for directions. Instead, he took Color Spirit and wandered through the tower's floors.

It was a Purple Steel Thunder Mastiff with a top elite racial grade.

This uncle had mines at home—this was Chen Wei's first impression.

Pets like Purple Steel Thunder Mastiffs were similar to Earth Wolf Hounds, except Earth Wolf Hounds usually ate dirt, while this thing ate source steel.

Unlike ordinary steel, source steel was an artificially manufactured and synthesized product. It contained a small amount of source power, was exceptionally sturdy, and could transmit source energy, making it extremely valuable.

"No. How much would it cost if you arrange a sparring partner?"

The girl wore a standard smile.

Led by her, Chen Wei arrived at a grand hall. Quite a few Beastmasters were already seated inside, waiting for their battles.

"Please wait a moment. Once a sparring attendant becomes available, the large screen above the hall will notify you of the arena number."

A moment later, the girl handed him a tablet. "Hello, this is part of the association's standard procedure. There's also some information that you'll need to fill out personally."

Chen Wei glanced through it. They were all simple questions about pet beast information, so he quickly completed them.

After returning the tablet to the girl, he asked curiously, "Does the full hour have to be used up?"

"Yes."

The girl gave him a surprised look. "If you're confident, you could try the Apprentice Arena Champion Challenge we've been holding recently."

"As long as you can defeat ten challengers in a row in the arena, you'll receive our special gift package."

Chen Wei's interest was immediately piqued. "When does this competition start, and what are the requirements?"

It had not been long since he and Color Spirit finished their grueling training. They happened to need plenty of battles to increase their strength, and if they were lucky, they might even win a prize.

She smiled. "Since you've already purchased a sparring package here, you automatically qualify to participate. The competition will be held next Monday at eight in the morning, at the battle venue in Zone A."

The girl added, "This competition only accepts juvenile-level pet beasts. Sir, you can give it a try. If you wish to participate, I can register you right now."

Chen Wei nodded with great interest. "Thank you. Please sign me up."

Chen Wei found this Apprentice Arena Champion Challenge quite interesting.

Whoever had come up with the event was a real genius—or perhaps a madman. They had actually created the spectacle of one against ten.
