After Color Spirit learned the Seven Greed Meditation Method, Chen Wei and Color Spirit began a monotonous routine of cultivation, going back and forth between two points.

Every day, they were either meditating together in the apartment or heading to the Beast Master Association's training grounds to practice skills.

On the very first day, Color Spirit's telekinesis skill advanced from beginner to proficient. Chen Wei could not help but marvel at it.

Sure enough, an expensive meditation method was expensive for a reason!

Ever since gaining this incomplete meditation method, Color Spirit's speed of cultivating spiritual power through meditation had increased by ten to twenty percent out of nowhere. Even practicing psychic-type skills had become astonishingly fast.

This effective low-tier meditation method made Chen Wei feel like he had struck gold.

On the second day, Chen Wei and Color Spirit tried to learn the third-tier ice-type skill [Ice Tornado] at the snowy training grounds.

Unfortunately, even after watching the Ice Tornado casting method shown in the video on Chen Wei's phone, Color Spirit still failed to grasp it. Chen Wei's idea naturally ended in failure.

"Looks like Color Spirit's talent has its limits too!" Seeing Color Spirit's baffled expression, Chen Wei secretly sighed to himself.

What a pity. If Color Spirit could learn skills through videos, he could save a huge amount on skill-learning fees.

Yet by the end of the day, instead of learning the Ice Tornado they had expected, she somehow stumbled into learning another second-tier ice-type skill, [Polar Ice].

Polar Ice was an area-covering skill. It could create a vast expanse of snow with relatively little stamina expenditure, thereby creating an icy environment suited to pet beasts.

Basically, every ice-type pet beast with a race level of High Extraordinary or above could learn this skill, but Chen Wei had never expected Color Spirit to master this signature skill while still in her juvenile stage.

Because of this unexpected delight, Chen Wei downloaded dozens of ice-type skill tutorial videos onto his phone that very night.

He planned to show them to Color Spirit whenever they had downtime during training. Perhaps she might even learn a few more ice-type skills.

As for psychic-type skills, Chen Wei could not find any. There simply were no tutorial videos for those online.

On the third day, having tasted success, Chen Wei continued going to the Beast Master Association with Color Spirit to learn skills.

But regrettably, although Chen Wei showed Color Spirit dozens of ice-type skill tutorial videos that day, she did not manage to learn a single new ice-type skill.

Instead, Color Spirit's Ice Spikes and Ice Concealment skills reached mastery level.

Chen Wei could only let out a helpless sigh. He had figured it out—Color Spirit learning new skills depended entirely on fate, just as his teaching relied entirely on videos. It was equally absurd.

But Chen Wei had no choice. If he truly went to an ice-type dojo to learn skills, a single skill would cost at least tens of thousands of Star Coins, while some even cost hundreds of thousands.

With only a little over a hundred thousand Star Coins left in his savings, he simply could not afford that. Besides, he still had Color Spirit's loan to repay.

On the fourth day, Chen Wei ran out of Vitality Powder, so he made a trip to the Pill Cauldron Medicine Hall and bought several more packets.

This time, however, he did not see the old physician from before. Then he and Color Spirit curled up in the apartment to meditate and cultivate.

That night, while Chen Wei was busy strengthening Color Spirit, his phone suddenly began to buzz.

After finishing the enhancement, Chen Wei checked his phone and could not help smiling at the message.

Gu Yun: "The store happens to have four Titanium Crystal Ragdolls that need Appraisal tomorrow. Do you have time to appraise them?"

"Of course I have time. Could I trouble you, Sister Gu Yun, to keep an eye out for more ragdolls in the store that need Appraisal?"

Chen Wei replied tentatively.

A penny could stump a hero; he did not want to be like this either.

On the other side, as Gu Yun read Chen Wei's message, a strange look appeared on her pure face. She had not expected Chen Wei to be so short of money.

If that was the case, why had he not accepted President Liu's recruitment?

If it were her, she would have long since clung tightly to Miss's sweet-smelling thigh. Hesitating for even a second would be disrespecting the admiration she held for Miss.

Gu Yun's fingers moved slightly as she replied, "Don't worry. I'll save them all for you."

When the words "Thank you" arrived on her phone a moment later, Gu Yun's brows knitted slightly.

If she had not noticed the strange importance Miss placed on Chen Wei, she would not have treated him so politely.

The next morning, bright sunlight streamed through the windows, filling the entire office with a warm atmosphere.

At that moment, Chen Wei was playing with the paw of a sleepy Titanium Crystal Ragdoll in his left hand, while tugging at the ear of another Titanium Crystal Ragdoll that looked rather unhappy with his right.

To keep Color Spirit from getting jealous this time, Chen Wei had put her into the Star Ring early on.

With all four Titanium Crystal Ragdolls gathered in his arms, Chen Wei felt thoroughly content.

"Sadly, there still isn't a single Titanium Crystal Ragdoll among them with outstanding potential."

After petting the ragdoll cats, Chen Wei shrugged helplessly, seeming to find it rather regrettable.

Tap, tap, tap. Crisp footsteps in high heels suddenly rang out through the office.

Hearing that familiar sound, Chen Wei looked up and, sure enough, saw his future master Liu Muning approaching with her little secretary.

Liu Muning wore a fitted black suit that accentuated her exquisite curves. She walked slowly to Chen Wei's side and sat down.

"How are your preparations? There are less than three months left until the Ragdoll Cup." Liu Muning's cool yet alluring voice sounded beside Chen Wei's ear.

Chen Wei seemed to catch a faint fragrance drifting from in front of him. He could not tell whether it was her natural scent or perfume.

He smiled and said softly, "Who else but me could be the Ragdoll Cup champion?"

Seemingly sensing Chen Wei's confidence, Liu Muning became slightly lost in thought.

She would not mock a young man with a clear goal; she only found it a little regrettable.

"What do you plan to learn by taking me as your master?" she asked curiously.

"I want to become an alchemist." Chen Wei gazed at Liu Muning with burning eagerness, his eyes filled with unwavering certainty.

"Is that so?" Liu Muning murmured, her voice nearly too soft to hear.

Then a hint of a smile appeared on her delicate face. "This is my handbook of basic alchemy knowledge. It contains my insights on beginner alchemists, as well as pill formulas."

The gorgeous Star Ring on Liu Muning's hand flashed faintly, and a brand-new alchemy notebook appeared in her hand.

Chen Wei's eyes immediately lit up slightly, his gaze following the notebook as it swayed in Liu Muning's hand.

Perhaps finding it somewhat boring, Liu Muning tossed the notebook to Chen Wei, her sexy, alluring voice ringing out at once.

"I'll give this to you. If you manage to win the Ragdoll Cup championship, I can save myself some trouble."

"Thank you, Master."

Chen Wei hurriedly caught the notebook with both hands, then seized the opportunity and directly changed his form of address from Sister Muning to Master.

Liu Muning frowned at that. Unused to it, she coldly tossed out a sentence.

"Don't mention the word 'Master.' You can call me that only after you win the championship!"

Meanwhile, Gu Yun, the little secretary beside Liu Muning who had been ignored for so long, also knitted her brows tightly, practically itching to rebuke the shameless young man before her.

But in the end, she could only helplessly loosen the fists clenched within her sleeves. It felt as though she had swallowed several pounds of lemons, leaving her unbearably sour inside.
