He continued controlling the character as he explored the map, then entered a cave.
The cave was pitch-black, with limited visibility.
"Oh my, it's so dark inside. You can't see the road at all."
Mrs. Sato couldn't help saying, leaning forward slightly as if she wanted to help the little figure on the screen see more clearly.
Tanaka remembered that he had bought a torch in town earlier, and quickly selected it from the item menu to use it.
On the screen, a small circle of light lit up around the character.
"Oh, now you can see. How convenient," Mrs. Sato murmured.
He groped his way through the cave, avoided several bat monsters, and finally found a treasure chest.
"Hurry and open it. Let's see what good thing is inside."
