But that clearly wouldn't have been reasonable.
This wasn't a multiplayer instance. Lu Xiu couldn't set the number of players. She had simply built it with five hundred in mind, but judging by its size, it could accommodate a thousand—or even ten thousand.
Besides, Lu Xiu was only one Architect among many.
What if other Architects didn't have the resources she did? Would their Versus Instances be denied release just because they couldn't recruit enough people to test them?
That obviously wouldn't be reasonable.
The system's approach made more sense.
As for the fact that she still had to clear an Architect Verification run after release—and wouldn't earn anything unless she came out on top—Lu Xiu wanted to complain. But given how shameless the system was, she couldn't be bothered.
She had planned to play the instance once it went live anyway.
