Vaughn strolled along the shore of the Black Lake in the cool morning breeze, looking full of energy. He had clearly slept well the night before.
Although his steadily increasing magic level meant he only needed a little sleep each day to feel refreshed, he had been far too busy lately. With his mind constantly turning over one problem after another, he had barely stopped.
So after putting the finishing touches on the Trial Space last night, Vaughn had gone back for a good night's sleep and slept until dawn.
With the change of venue, the Potions Exchange would officially enter its second stage. He no longer needed to worry about things there; he only had to wait until the first faction battle ended, then address any shortcomings revealed during the process.
Greyback's death had removed the last obstacle facing the Werewolf Class, and matters at the Ministry of Magic had settled down as well. Umbridge would remain Acting Minister at least until the end of his second year.
For now, the only things he needed to consider were Contract Magic and Voldemort.
He still had no leads on Contract Magic. Vaughn planned to visit China during the summer holidays, though he had yet to mention it to Li Nanyu.
Side quest 3 and side quest 6, issued by the system, were both closely tied to China. Aside from the magic level reward, both the "Ten years of adept experience package" and "Choose one of eight alchemical wonders" were things he urgently needed.
An adept's experience would let him skip the initial groundwork and move straight into in-depth research on Chinese magic, which would greatly help his development of Contract Magic.
As for the alchemical wonders, he did not know what options the system would offer, but they surely would
